About Us

Graduate Mindmap is developed by the Research and Impact Initiative on Communication in Healthcare (HKU RIICH) at The University of Hong Kong. We are dedicated to supporting graduates as they navigate the complex transition into the workforce. The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly altered many aspects of life, leaving lasting impacts. Our focus extends beyond the immediate effects of the pandemic to address the broader challenges that graduates face in the evolving post-pandemic job market, compounded by ongoing global economic uncertainties.

Our multidisciplinary research team brings together experts in linguistics (language and communication), psychology (wellbeing and mental health), career development, and related fields. The Graduate Mindmap is part of a larger, comprehensive research project exploring the multifaceted challenges faced by Hong Kong graduates entering the professional world. We gather insights from real-life experiences shared by students, graduates, employers, HR professionals, and university staff in Hong Kong and beyond.
